It's the school holidays and Terry is bored and lonely. The only thing he enjoys doing is watching television. But one winter's day, as he begins to receive strange messages on his video set, Terry realises he isn't alone. Somebody or something, is trying to get his attention, and with the aid of a new friend, he pieces together the messages from the alien Visitors.
