'When Kel wakes from a coma to find that his lifelong friend Bryce is dead, he is plagued by guilt, fear and a profound sense of loss. Soon, strange dreams and half-seen figures make him doubt all he has been told. Bryce isn't dead, he decides, he's just lost.
'Kel begins searching the city, looking for Bryce and for some sort of peace. But is he right about his friend? As his obsession with finding Bryce grows, Kel is drawn into the displaced world of the city's backstreets and finds his life spiralling out of control.'
