The story of the influence of Aboriginal culture on a cattleman's son in North Queensland. Jimmy Brent is the grandson of the white settlers who built 'Oonaderra' homestead on a sacred Aboriginal site. After a series of tragedies befall the Brent family, Jimmy and his friend, Tajurra, realise the survival of 'Oonaderra' depends on reconciliation between black and white.
