AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Fictional story of a young girl and boy of the Bunwurung who seek to marry contrary to the decision of their elders. The book contrasts the everyday life of girls with that of boys, and includes a sequence on native magic and medicine. It is set at the time of the arrival of the first Europeans.
