AbstractHistoryArchive Description
Eleven-year-old Aboriginal boy Tuckonie, his white friend Peggy, and their adult friend Lucky Dan continue their travels. They meet Gulunna, a chief's son who has just had a 'spell of ill fortune' (3) placed on him by other tribe members who disagree with his desire to 'throw off the rule of the medicine men' (4). When he is cast out of his tribe, Gulunna joins Tuckonie, Peggy, and Dan on their adventures.
