AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Involves murder on a train journey from Sydney to Perth. The heroine, suffering from amnesia, starts off on the Spirit of Progress a few weeks after the attack on Pearl Harbour, then goes on to Adelaide to join the Trans-Australian. The Kanba is a legendary giant snake of the Nullarbor likened to this train.
