  • Author's Introduction: ....It was written from a series of hilarious events which happened when two 'non-athletic' mothers, myself included, decided to join a learn-to-swim campaign. I mentioned casually to the family that someone should write a comedy about the incredible situations which arose, whereupon they all loooked at me strangely...and here it is.' (p.87).
