Ellie receives a special book of fairytales for her birthday. She turns down a friend's offer to see a Mary Pickford film and chooses instead to read. When she finishes reading, she becomes Cinderella and is visited by the Fairy Godmother who sends her to the Ball, where she meets a host of other fairy tale characters.
