AbstractHistoryArchive Description

In 1994, the Kennett Government knocked down a toilet block in Cleve Gardens, St Kilda - part of its clean-up campaign for the impending Formula One Grand Prix. It sounds uncontroversial; but for the Koori people who gathered there, it was the destruction of a modern sacred meeting place. No Parking follows the intertwined lives of a group of St Kilda residents. At the same time as the 'parkies' meeting place is threatened, the world of drugs is posing different threats to runaway Brian and his street-wise cousin Chrissy.
