Between the Rock and a Soft Toy, Cameron Stewart , single work criticism
Investigates the controversy which arose through the incorporation of culturally insenstive images in the children's book Bromley Climbs Uluru. The authors claim that, as the book was published before photographic and film restrictions were imposed at Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, they should be free to continue selling their work. Park rangers and the Anangu people argue that the book should be banned as it is offensive to the park's traditional owners.
