Hedigan takes Australian literary journals to task over the inadequacy of their websites. She refers specifically to Meanjin, Heat, Australian Book Review, Overland, Griffith Review, Salt-Lick Quarterly, Westerly and Southerly. In most cases she considers their design amateurish, unimaginative and uninformative, offering no real advantage to on-line readers or subscribers.
