This short column announces the publication of the first story in the 'Cookabundy Chronicles' and the intention to publish the entire collection of stories in book form. (The Bunyip of Barney's Elbow was published ten years later and included all of the Cookabundy Chronicles as they appeared in The Bulletin except for the story titled 'The Cookabundy Chronicles : The Bushrangers'.
