The bibliography surveys the periodical publishing of the period, describes the titles, lists their date and place of publication and the names of their proprietors, publishers, printers, editors and noted contributors. It also gives details of their size, frequency, price and location in library holdings. Included are a chronological listing and an index of names of people involved with the publications. This publication updates, expands and corrects the author's earlier bibliography Nineteenth Century Australian Periodicals.
