AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A companion piece to Water.

'A recovering pyromaniac talks through her experience, relating memories and fantasies with flickerings from the unconscious. Her monologue crackles with the symbolism of conflagration evoking apocalypse and damnation, danger and desire, madness and rage, purgation and salvation. Is memory to the imagination what air is to fire? Will the process of analysis work a phoenix-like transformation? Dr Burn remains a silent listener.'
