Notes

  • Here the writer describes a ritual combat (which they appear to have witnessed) between two Aboriginal warriors, Bungarree and Colman.
  • First appeared in Tegg's Monthly Magazine in May 1836 with the author's name given as 'Timothy Tell-Tale'. Note that Victor Crittenden (q.v.) attributes this work to John Lang (q.v.).
