Davidson reports on the presence of Wentwoth Magazine Editor Miss Hamilton, Serle and Byrne's assessments of Outline of Australian Literature, Australian Book Week in London, and Society President Booth's proposal that the Society buy the Gordon house at Brighton. Davidson also reports her own resignation from the post of secretary to be taken up by her daughter Joan.
