This is the first part of a trilogy dealing with turn of the century Australian idealists. Parts two and three are 'Henry and Peter and Henry and Me' and the unpublished 'The Ballad of Billy Lane'.

First produced by the Stage Co. at the Balcony Theatre in Adelaide, 6 April 1978. Has since played around Australia, in Edinburgh and in Dublin. Voted the best play of the 1980 Edinburgh Festival Fringe by London's Sunday Telegraph newspaper.
