1. First screened on 10 January at the 2006 Flikerfest International Short Film Festival (Bondi, NSW). The film has also screened at the 2006 Harlem Film Festival (New York City, USA), the 2007 Nimbin Independent Film Festival (NSW) and the 2008 Pan African Film and Arts Festival (Los Angeles, USA).
2. Released on DVD format in 2005 by Contemporary Arts Media.

B.L.A.C.K. : An Aboriginal Song of Hip-hop was a finalist at the 2006 Flickerfest International Film Festival and also won a 2006 European Union Award.
