Based on the real events that occurred to potential Olympian Janine Shepherd after she was partially paralysed in a car accident. With her dream of competing in the Winter Games in Calgary shattered, Shepherd is told that she will never ski again and will never have children. However, the determination that made her a sporting champion sees her eventually overcome these obstacles. She manages to walk again, learns to fly light planes, and more.
