Epigraph: Between 1890 and 1920 hundreds of pianos were brought from Europe to homesteads, estates, farms and worksheds throughout Australia. In 2007 a group of German historians, restorers and musicians travelled through rural New South Wales to locate and play some of these unique, neglected pianos.
