'Inmates tells the story of a young man's progression through a profound mental collapse. To escape and as a means of understanding his ordeal, the man pens a play recording the changes taking place in his inner world. The boundaries between the two worlds however, and the characters created take on a life of their own to the torment and confusion of their author.'
