AbstractHistoryArchive Description
Yeyekerte is a twenty-six-episode, magazine-style television series produced in 2008 by CAAMA Productions and commissioned by the National Indigenous Television (NITV) station, which broadcasts the programs from Alice Springs.
The series explores the lives of Indigenous people, whether celebrities or ordinary individuals, as well as places of interest or importance. Yeyekerte's objective is to both educate and celebrate the achievements of the Indigenous community by looking through the eyes and experiences of Aboriginal people, many of whom would not otherwise have the opportunity to tell their stories.
The series also includes a regular cooking feature with Raeleen Brown.
