  • The Sydney Gazette reports : 'The Ship Edward Lombe from London, via Hobart Town, consigned to the house of Messrs. J. B. Montefiore and Co. of Sydney, was wrecked off the middle head during the hurricane of Monday night [25 August 1834]'.
