      • Editor's note: 'Christie Palmerston, Explorer of the Rainforest' was first published in 1982 to commemorate the centenary of Palmerston's explorations within the Eacham Shire. When the second edition was published additional material about the building and upgrading of the Palmerston Highway was added. This third edition has had no further text added, however the cover design was changed and two portraits of Christie Palmerston were added to the inside back cover.
