- The fictional town of Jindarra, on the New South Wales-Victoria border. Filmed on location at the Mornington Peninsula, Tooradin, and Healesville.

- 1980 Sammy Award for Best Children's Series, as well as both an AWGIE and a Penguin Award (both 1980) for the scripts for episodes 17 and 24 respectively.
