Location:

According to Storey, Spyforce featured some location shooting in New Guinea, as well as a four to five-week shoot in Singapore, Macao, Thailand, Hong Kong, and other Asian countries, obtaining background footage to use later. Other locations included Changi prison ('where, after several hours of negotiation, the Governor was persuaded to raise the Japanese flag for the first time since the war'). Most of the series, however, was shot in bushland in Narrabeen (in the outer northern suburbs of Sydney).
