Keeping a promise to his dead war buddy Adrian, Korean War veteran Paul Quentin arrives at Adrian's house, where Adrian's widow Alice and her children welcome him with open arms. Little do they suspect, however, that his real mission is to kill the children as retribution for Alice's alleged infidelities. As Quentin get to know the family, he grows too fond of the kids to carry out his bloody task, but there's still a blackmailer that he has to contend with.
