Note: Neither the script nor the usual alternate sources suggest a director for this episode, but the script is assigned to David Lee.
      1969 .
      person or book cover
Script cover page (from the Crawford Collection at the AFI Research Collection)
      Extent: 71p.
      (Manuscript) assertion
      Note/s:
      • The script is labelled 'Episode GW' on the cover page. A note in the upper right-hand corner of the cover page indicates that this copy of the script was designated for David Lee.
      • The cover page is heavily annotated in lead pencil (general notes) and blue ink (numerical notes relating to running time).
      • The script itself also contains some annotations. The annotations include specifics on set-dressing (on page 1, where the stage direction reads 'Pauses to cover a plant against the frost', someone has noted 'RHODODENDRON') and some changes to dialogue (on page 10, in the line 'Ten for originality; nought for spelling', 'nought' has been crossed out and replaced with '5'; on page 41, 'Fat chance' has been struck out and replaced with 'WE ARE IN STRIFE'). By and large, the rate of annotation across the script is not high.
      • The final page includes a list of crew credits:

        Written by Cliff Green.
        Edited by Jim Stapleton.
Typed by Hilary Burgess, Christine Rook, Shirley Ballard, Pam Petersen, Margaret Younger.
Checked by Hilary Burgess, Christine Rook, Shirley Ballard, Pam Petersen, Margaret Younger.
        Duplicated by Doreen Arnold.
