  • This poem was written in honour of Marilyn Lowe the first Aboriginal trainee and graduate of the Nurses' Training School of the Royal Newcastle Hospital. (see Koori Mail, issue 549, 2013:29 for Article 'Trailblazing Nurse Out of the Shadows')
