BiographyHistory

'David Daintree has an academic background in Classics, but he is primarily a medieval Latinist. He taught at Geelong Grammar School, Timbertop, and St Peter’s College, Adelaide. He was Principal of Jane Franklin Hall, University of Tasmania, Rector of St John’s College, University of Sydney and President List of Contributors 317 of Campion College, Australia’s only Liberal Arts college. He has been a visiting professor at both the Universities of Siena and Venice, and a visiting fellow at St. John’s College, University of Manitoba.
