BiographyHistory

Jo Oliver has worked as a children's librarian. In 2004, she was awarded the Australian Library and Information Association's Marjorie Cotton Award for outstanding contribution to children and youth library services.

Oliver has used a range of printmaking techniques for her children's books, particularly the linocut. Her children's books have been commended by the Children's Book Council of Australia, and she was shortlisted for the Crichton Award in 2009.

In 2020, she released a biography of Jessie Traill.
