The titular bananas in pyjamas, B1 and B2, are mischievous twins who cannot resist playing tricks on their teddy-bear friends Amy, Lulu, and Morgan. Just down the street is Rat in a Hat, whose shop is visited regularly by the Bananas and Teddies. The series, designed for the 0-5-year-old demographic, has a mixture of narration and dialogue, complemented by specially composed music and songs. Each delightful story features fun, adventures, and good humour aimed at the pre-schooler.

'A family discovers their child has leukemia. But this is not the only case of cancer in this small country town in the middle of the cotton belt, where clouds of chemicals hang over the town and contaminate the water. The family confronts government departments, chemical companies and the cotton growers before the final climax in court.'

The National Screen and Film Archive offers the following synopsis of Custody:

'After 12 years Christine and Andrew Byrne find their marriage is about to become another divorce statistic. Their main battle focuses on who will keep the children. Custody follows them down the highly emotional path that eventually leads to a fully contested custody battle in the Family Court. The Byrne family are played by actors, with real-life lawyers and members of the judiciary in the legal roles.'
