The Adventures of a Little Dragon is a story of two mythical creatures, the Australian bunyip and the Chinese dragon. When a returning swallow tells Ciwen, a Chinese dragon, about a big island in the south he decides to see it for himself. After a long flight over mountains and oceans Ciwen arrives in Australia where he makes friends, not only with a kangaroo, an emu and a possum but also a bunyip.
