'This is a play within a play: the story of two journeys, one contained within another. Cain, born to Indian parents in Australia, makes an odyssey to their homeland, navigating through his fears and expectations to find a surprising moment of truth. And his uncle travels through memory to uncover his own intimate feelings untarnished by time. The world swirling round them seems only partly real, with intrusions of poetry and menace.'
