AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Living in a terror-ridden South-East Asian city, Jody Fielding is a writer of voyeuristic pulp fiction: "Somehow I've got this gift, the way I use words, I can make the reader feel he's actually having sex with the most exotic women or boys in the whole of Asia." He shares his life with Libbie, an ex-hooker who feeds him stories from her lurid past. They are visited by an ex-lover of Jody's named Simon, who claims to have become a born-again Christian. He also claims he is being shadowed by his doppelganger, an exact copy of himself. Trouble is, the doppelganger is a born-again serial killer. Is Simon deranged? Or is the doppelganger real?'
