Dropping In, John Wood , single work drama
Ralph and Edna go to catch up with Ralph's cousin, whom they have not seen for many years, only to find that the daughter is the only remnant of his family. The play focuses on fantasy verses reality, and highlights how one can believe one is 'in touch' with someone and actually be far from it.
(p. 1-8)
The Enid Simmons Interview, John Wood , single work drama

A one sided interview with a 73 year old, almost the stereotype maiden lady. As the interview progresses the stereotype feeling falls away and what you see is a cultured, intelligent, entertaining lady. Her 'confession' at the close of the interview surprises but does not shock, and that in itself is a powerful lesson in how wrong programmed response to stereotypes is, not to mention the stereotypes.

(p. 9-15)
Heels Over Head, John Wood , single work drama

A couple in their fifties, on Anzac Day and the visitor they always underestimated. It is an experience of the vulnerability, and pain in trying honest communication, and the joy when understood. A love story with poignancy, pathos and reality.

(p. 17-34)
